Well, just as the quote says, I have high respect for the past and for the native people of any land. I chose the kangaroo and Aboriginal style for a number of reasons, one being the kangaroo is my animal of study in the Animal Drawing class, the other being the Aboriginal concept of the dreamtime and creation.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
